Jim Wetherington Announced as New GM at the Peoria Civic Center

May 17, 2011 (Peoria, IL) - Jim Wetherington, the Peoria Civic Center's former Assistant General Manager, has succeeded Debbie Ritschel as GM, following Ritschel's retirement on May 1, 2011.

Ritschel began her tenure at the Peoria Civic Center with the facility's opening in 1982. She served as the General Manager since 2000.

Wetherington states, "I am pleased and honored to take the helm at the Peoria Civic Center. After 21 years of service to the facility, I look forward to leading the team for many years to come."
